Azerbaijan's participation in the Munich Security Conference strengthens the country's voice in regional security issues – EXPERT

Azerbaijan's participation in the annual Munich Security Conference significantly strengthens the country's voice in international discussions on regional and global security issues, said Giorgio Cafiero, American expert and CEO of the international consulting and analytical company Gulf State Analytics, in the latest episode of the "Azerbaijan and the World" program broadcast on the AZERTAC website.

According to him, the Munich Security Conference is rightfully considered one of the most influential platforms in the world for discussing global security issues. Every year, it brings together heads of state, foreign and defense ministers, senior government officials, as well as leading analysts and experts from around the world.

The expert noted that Azerbaijan's participation in this forum is particularly significant, as it provides Baku with the opportunity to directly interact with key decision-making centers. He believes this allows the Azerbaijani side to clearly and convincingly convey its position on issues related to the situation in the South Caucasus and the broader international agenda.

He emphasized that such international platforms are particularly important for ensuring that discussions of regional processes include the views of countries directly involved in the region's developments. According to him, Azerbaijan's participation contributes to a more balanced and realistic understanding of the processes unfolding in the South Caucasus.
