Relations between Germany and Azerbaijan continue to strengthen amid growing global instability and the transformation of the international system, German political scientist and international relations expert Klemens Fischer said in the latest episode of the "Azerbaijan and the World" program broadcast on the AZERTAC website.
According to him, the modern world is facing rising energy prices, geopolitical tensions, and changes in the global security architecture.
The expert noted that, in these circumstances, Germany, while remaining part of the European Union, is actively developing bilateral ties, including with Azerbaijan.
He emphasized that in recent years, there has been a noticeable strengthening of contacts between the two countries, which began several years ago and continues to develop. He assessed that this partnership offers significant opportunities, allowing both sides to build sustainable cooperation over the long term.
