Formula Driver Alp Aksoy: My Goal is Always to Win

Turkey's sole representative in international formula series, Alp Hasan Aksoy, continues the Italian F4 Championship season in Vallelunga. Racing for Prema Racing, Aksoy will compete in qualifying rounds and race sessions throughout the weekend in the second round of the season.

'MY GOAL IS ALWAYS TO WIN'

Expressing his desire to lead in the Vallelunga race, Aksoy said, "We finished the first week as leaders with a very good performance. My goal is to finish the race as the leader. There is a lot of interest, a lot of support. This increases my responsibility. Finishing the week at the top again and having our National Anthem played after the races is a great motivation for me. I will hit the track with this motivation again," he said.

Last week, Alp Hasan Aksoy delivered a remarkable performance at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli, achieving pole position, the fastest lap, three Rookie P1 results, and podiums in P1 and P3 in the overall standings. Starting the final race from the first position and crossing the checkered flag first, Aksoy completed the Misano weekend with a strong victory. Following these results, the young driver reached 82 points and took the lead in the Italian F4 Championship.

The Vallelunga weekend will start with qualifying rounds to be held tomorrow. The racing excitement will continue with races on Saturday and Sunday. For Alp Hasan Aksoy, this weekend will be an important test to maintain the momentum gained in Misano and to keep the championship lead.
