President Erdoğan left his residence in Üsküdar Kısıklı at noon. Erdoğan performed Friday prayer at Kerem Aydınlar Mosque in Üsküdar. President Erdoğan answered the questions of the press members while leaving the mosque.
Upon being asked about his meeting with Putin, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said, "Dear friends, the date has not yet been finalised. However, the foreign minister and my intelligence chief are holding talks. I believe that within the framework of these negotiations, I hope this visit will take place in August."
Erdoğan said, "We are on the same line with Russia" about the grain corridor and added, "We will turn the grains that will come from Russia through the Black Sea corridor into flour and we will transport them to poor African countries and underdeveloped countries as flour. Even now, we will continue to take these steps as our ministry of food, agriculture and livestock, and we will continue to provide this support and aid to poor countries. Of course, this is not the first time France has done this. The practices in Algeria in the past, the practices in Rwanda, the practices in Bali, all these are now available in all the records of the world and especially Africans know this very well. At the moment, they have completely stopped gold shipments and uranium shipments to France. This is a response to the oppression inflicted on these countries for years. We are trying to maintain our positive relations with them," he said.
Regarding the High Minimum Council appointments, President Erdoğan said, "I was very happy about this appointment, this transfer. Especially the promotion of such a girl to admiral made us very happy. As you know, there are many such appointments in the judiciary, but now for the first time in the Armed Forces, it was a different beauty that such a girl was promoted from colonel to general and admiral. I congratulate and congratulate her, and I hope that this will be continued in the next instances."
