Istanbul was hit by floods: 2 dead, 12 injured
Houses and workplaces were flooded in Arnavutköy, Başakşehir and Küçükçekmece due to a strong downpour in Istanbul. In the statement made by the Governorship of Istanbul, "While it was determined that 125 kilograms of rain fell per square metre, two people, one each in Başakşehir and Küçükçekmece districts, lost their lives and 12 people were injured due to flooding. The treatment of the injured people continues in the hospitals where they were taken".
