SOLOTÜRK AND TURKISH STARS AMAZED
The celebration programme for the 101st anniversary of the liberation of Izmir from enemy occupation continued with the march of cavalry units from Cumhuriyet Square to Gündoğdu Square. Within the scope of the liberation day activities, air shows started around 18.00. Gündoğdu Square hosted the air show of SoloTürk and Turkish Stars. SoloTürk's show was one of the most interesting programmes of the 9 September shows in Izmir. Izmirites of all ages watched the shows with great pleasure. Citizens who recorded the moments with their mobile phones experienced moments of excitement as the aircraft descended. The show, which could be seen from many parts of Izmir, lasted 75 minutes.
