In a relase today, MGM Istanbul Regional Forecasting and Early Warning Center said the winds are strong from the south and southwest directions in the Marmara Region from 09:00 tomorrow to 06:00 on Sunday. Strong winds will expect to be around 50-70 km/h, 70-80 km/h in Istanbul, Tekirdag, Kırklareli, Edirne and Yalova. MGM warned against dangerous conditions such as roof flying, tree and pole falling, transportation disruptions, stove and natural gas-induced flue gas poisoning.
'Storm' warning for Marmara Region
The General Directorate of Meteorology (MGM) of Turkiye issued a storm warning in the Marmara Region, will start on Saturday and continue until Sunday morning.
