The opening of the Zangezur Corridor will further enhance the competitiveness of the Middle Corridor. The strategic importance of the Middle Corridor has increased, with Azerbaijan being one of the main links, said Cevdet Yılmaz, Turkish Vice President, during the 2nd Azerbaijan-Türkiye Investment Forum held in Baku.
The Turkish Vice President noted that the Middle Corridor’s attractiveness and capabilities have increased significantly after the Russia-Ukraine war: "In this regard, relations with Azerbaijan, which is one of the integral components of the Middle Corridor, have become more strategic."
Emphasizing the increasing role of Azerbaijan both regionally and globally, Cevdet Yılmaz said they closely monitor the transformation processes carried out by the country in the energy sector.
