A ceremony to award honorary doctorate diplomas to Binali Yıldırım, Chairman of the Council of Elders of the Organization of Turkic States, and Hasan Hasanov, member of the Council of Elders, was held at Ardahan University in Türkiye.
The opening ceremony brought together representatives of official institutions, international organizations, political parties, diplomats, scientists, and academic staff of the university.
Öztürk Emiroğlu, Rector of Ardahan University, delivered a speech at the event.
The Rector described the awarding of honorary titles to two elders of the Turkic world as a historic moment for the university and the academic community as a whole.
He highlighted the life paths of Binali Yıldırım and Hasan Hasanov, as well as their contributions to the development of their countries and the strengthening of unity in the Turkic world.
