The Turkish Armed Forces Harmony Band, currently on a visit to Azerbaijan, performed at a concert held at the Heydar Aliyev Military Institute of the National Defense University to mark 26 June – Armed Forces Day.
First, the memory of National Leader Heydar Aliyev and Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, as well as the martyrs of the two countries who sacrificed their lives for the independence and territorial integrity of their Motherland, was honored with a minute of silence. The national anthems of both countries were then performed by the military orchestra.
The concert program featured military-patriotic songs, various marches, as well as contemporary and classical musical works by renowned Azerbaijani, Turkish, and international composers.
