11 people died as a result of a boat capsizing in the Kwilu province of the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
A boat traveling between the towns of Masi and Manimba on the Inzia River in the Kwilu province of western Democratic Republic of the Congo reportedly struck rocks and capsized. It was reported that 11 people lost their lives in the accident, and 47 people were rescued. Authorities announced that search and rescue operations are ongoing to find the missing passengers.
