Trump: We Will Hit Iran Very Hard
U.S. President Donald Trump stated that the ongoing war process with Iran is progressing very well in their favor and noted that they will continue their harsh military interventions.

U.S. President Donald Trump held his first open cabinet meeting at Camp David, where he made assessments regarding developments in Iran and the Middle East. Arguing that the war with Iran is progressing successfully from the U.S. perspective, Trump stated that their sole objective from the beginning has been to win and that they will not allow Tehran to possess nuclear weapons. Responding to a question about the mutual attacks between the U.S. and Iran, Trump emphasized that they will continue with harsh military interventions against Iran until the resistance of the other side is completely broken.

Claiming that they have largely destroyed Iran's military capacity and that Tehran now has only limited military power, Trump argued that the other side has not shown an honest attitude during the negotiation process. During a period when diplomatic contacts are ongoing, Trump reported receiving information that Iran launched 5 missiles at the U.S. base in Jordan, reminding that the military intervention in Iran is only in its fifth month and stating that it is not correct to compare the current situation with the Vietnam or Afghanistan wars.

HAMAS DISARMAMENT PROCESS

Addressing the disarmament agreement process of Hamas during the meeting, Trump expressed satisfaction with the developments and considered this as a critical step for establishing lasting peace in the region. Reporting that an agreement has been reached with Israel regarding the process and that the Tel Aviv administration is satisfied with the current point and supports the process, Trump left unanswered the questions of whether Israel will withdraw from the region or Hamas will disarm first.

Recalling that many people in the past considered the disarmament of Hamas impossible, Trump added that the said agreement is directly linked to the success the U.S. has achieved against Iran and that such an agreement would not have been possible a few months ago.
