U.S. President Donald Trump said, "An agreement on the outlines has been reached with Iran, so we have suspended planned attacks on Iran."
U.S. President Donald Trump announced on his social media account that he has suspended potential attacks on Iran this weekend. Trump noted that Iran and other Middle Eastern countries in talks with it have agreed on the 'outlines of an agreement' and requested that the U.S. refrain from launching new attacks. Trump stated that the agreement includes the 'complete opening of the Strait of Hormuz' and the 'complete end of Iran's nuclear threat,' adding, "Based on this request, for the benefit of the world and the survival of Iran, I agreed to halt the attacks on the condition that a quick agreement is reached. Israel shares my view."
