The installation of a 500-meter floating barrier has been completed at the border line in the city of Ceuta, Spain's territory in North Africa, to prevent the passage of irregular migrants. The Spanish press announced that the 500-meter-long floating security barrier, which began installation yesterday morning at the Tarajal Border Gate on Ceuta's border with Morocco, has been completed as per the decision of the Spanish government.
It was noted that the barrier aims to prevent illegal crossings by irregular migrants, with the surface height of the barrier reaching 30-70 centimeters and extending one meter deep underwater.
