2,500 people evacuated due to fires in southeastern France
It has been reported that 2,500 people have been evacuated due to fires in the Var department in southeastern France.

The French press reported that 1,500 firefighters, 10 firefighting planes, and 6 helicopters were deployed both from the air and on the ground to combat the fire that reignited the previous day in the Var department. Due to the fire, 2,500 people were evacuated from the department.

French Interior Minister Laurent Nunez announced that 14,320 fires have broken out across the country this year, burning 119,000 hectares of land.
