Trump announces talks with Iran to resume today
US President Donald Trump announced that talks with Iran would resume today.

US President Donald Trump answered questions from the press on the plane while returning from New Jersey to Washington. Trump stated that US-Iran talks would resume today, noting that an agreement could soon be reached on the opening of the Strait of Hormuz and Iran's 'nuclear disarmament'.

Trump, who conveyed that Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Qatar, and Iran canceled their planned 'large-scale attack' due to the talks, said, "This would have been the biggest attack since World War II. But they asked us not to do it. They said, please don't do it; their neighbors said the same thing. What we are doing now is negotiating with them through talks," he said.
