Approximately 60,000 people have been evacuated from the Spokane area in Washington state due to wildfires.

The American press reported that approximately 101,000 hectares have been affected by 15 ongoing fires in the Spokane area of Washington state. Authorities stated that the fires have not yet been brought under control and that firefighting efforts are ongoing. It was noted that around 60,000 people have been evacuated in Spokane, and more than 600 structures have become unusable.
