United Nations (UN) Deputy Spokesperson Farhan Haq, during a daily press briefing in New York, made a statement regarding developments in the Middle East. Haq stated that Israel recorded '125 airspace violations with a total flight duration exceeding 418 hours' in Lebanese airspace from July 30 to August 2. Haq reported that surveillance and armed unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) were detected near or over UN Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) positions, adding, "Peace forces also report extensive military activities, including significant engineering works and active troop movements in southern Lebanon."
