“Reviewing the outcomes of the last three decades, Switzerland’s investments in Azerbaijan amount to $1.6 billion, while Azerbaijan’s investments in Switzerland reach $2.3 billion. These indicators demonstrate that a well balanced approach has been formed in investment cooperation,” said Jeyhun Bayramov, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, during a joint press conference held with Ignazio Cassis, Federal Councillor and Head of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs of the Swiss Confederation, OSCE Chairman-in-Office.
“In 2025, mutual trade was quite successful, with the total trade volume between the two countries reaching nearly $1.8 billion,” the minister mentioned.
According to him, 110 Swiss companies have been registered in Azerbaijan, with 87 of them actively operating across industry, construction, agriculture, transport, trade, and other sectors.
"Currently, work is underway on a number of new documents between the two countries. We believe that we will soon witness the signing of additional agreements," FM Bayramov emphasized.
