U.S. President Donald Trump stated that negotiations with Iran are progressing 'very well', saying, "The Strait of Hormuz will open very soon."
U.S. President Donald Trump made a statement to the American press regarding the Iran agenda. Trump stated that a major attack was planned against Iran but they returned to negotiations after 'Iranian officials requested a meeting'. Noting that U.S. and Iranian officials had 'very good talks' and 'talked all day yesterday', Trump said, "The only thing that matters is taking action and they want to make a deal."
Trump warned that if they abandon the negotiations, the Iranian side would 'face a harsh response', saying, "If they back down again, they will suffer a very heavy blow. They know this," he said.
Commenting on the Strait of Hormuz, Trump stated, "The strait will open very soon or they will be hit very hard and then the strait will be open."
