US President Donald Trump stated they are ready to hit Iran 'hard' if negotiations fail.
US President Donald Trump spoke at an economy-themed event held in Las Vegas, Nevada. Making a statement about Iran, Trump said they would not allow Iran to possess nuclear weapons. Trump stated, “I prefer to make a deal with them because I do not want to kill people. We were ready to launch the biggest attack since World War II, but we suspended our planned attacks by responding positively to the request from Gulf leaders and Iranian officials to stop the attack and negotiate. They called me and said, ‘let’s talk.’ We are currently negotiating.”
Trump noted that they are ready to hit Iran 'hard' if the negotiations fail, saying, “Our main goal is to ensure that Iran does not possess nuclear weapons.”
