Approximately 390,000 people have been evacuated in China's Zhejiang province due to the approaching Dolphin Typhoon.
The Dolphin Typhoon, expected to bring severe winds, downpours, floods, and landslides, is reported to be approaching China's eastern coast at a speed of approximately 162 kilometers per hour in the Zhejiang province. It was stated that around 390,000 people were evacuated in the city of Taizhou in Zhejiang province following the instructions of the authorities. It was also noted that maritime activities such as ferry and ship tours have been suspended in the province.
In a statement from the China National Observatory, it was noted that due to the approach of the Dolphin Typhoon, the highest level of the country's typhoon warning system, the red alert, was activated today.
