U.S. President Donald Trump made an assessment regarding the ongoing negotiation process with Iran to the American press. Trump stated that they are quietly negotiating with Iran, saying, “We are only in a semi-negotiation with Iran. We are just watching Iran's high inflation and lack of money.”
Trump said that Iran is in a 'very bad situation' economically and does not have the money to pay its soldiers' salaries, adding that the U.S. naval blockade has further worsened the Iranian regime's economic crisis.
