“La Razón” newspaper of Peru has published an article highlighting the remarks by Foreign Minister Carlos Espá to mark the 205th anniversary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Alongside the key priorities of Peru’s foreign policy, the article placed a particular emphasis on the development of relations between Peru and Azerbaijan.
The article described the reopening of Peru’s embassy in Baku as a significant decision, noting that Azerbaijan is not only strategically located in the South Caucasus but also stands as a crucial energy and trade hub.
It also highlighted Azerbaijan’s recent statements on investments in Peru, stressing that these developments offer considerable potential for enhancing cooperation between the two countries.
The publication also stressed that further advancing Peru’s diplomatic relations with Azerbaijan could open new avenues for cooperation in the political, economic, trade, and investment spheres. In this regard, the reopening of Peru’s embassy in Baku was reviewed as a significant step toward deepening bilateral ties.
