In his speech, Trump made statements regarding the Tehran administration and developments in the region, claiming that Iran has been severely defeated and announced that he will officially declare the Strait of Hormuz as US territory after this process is completed. In his speech, Trump said, “After we finish defeating Iran, which is being defeated very badly, I will soon declare the Strait of Hormuz as United States territory.”
Emphasizing that the US blockade in the Strait of Hormuz is already ongoing, Trump stated that the control of passage in the region is entirely in their hands, saying, “No ship can pass through the strait unless we allow it.”
