Iranian President Pezeşkiyan: We Must End the War While in a Strong Position
Iranian President Mesud Pezeşkiyan stated that the country is in a strong and respected position, and ending the war with the US during this period would be a more appropriate step.

Iranian President Mesud Pezeşkiyan addressed the General Assembly of the Islamic Physicians Association, sharing his assessments on current issues. Emphasizing that merely voicing the country's problems does not provide solutions, Pezeşkiyan stated that efforts should focus on resolving these issues. He noted that the differences in opinion within the country stem from personal ambitions and stressed that leaders should serve the public with principles of justice and honesty.

Referring to the negotiation processes and the agreement signed on June 17, Pezeşkiyan highlighted that the agreement, unanimously approved by the Supreme National Security Council, was a significant achievement. He argued that the agreement did not involve submission and that all obligations were on the other party, expressing openness to peace but also a firm stance to resist any pressure and attacks to the end.

Drawing attention to Iran's military and social resilience, Pezeşkiyan stated, “Today, as we are in a strong and respected position, with the whole world acknowledging our victory and knowing that the US has violated rules by targeting our schools, hospitals, and infrastructure, ending the war is the best course of action. We must accept the differing views within and unite. If we unite, we remain strong; if we divide, we perish.”
