Iran's Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council, Mohsen Rezaei, announced on his social media account that if the economic war continues, oil shipments from the Strait of Hormuz and the Persian Gulf will be halted. Rezaei stated that they would consider the stance of countries participating in or supporting the U.S.'s economic war against the Iranian people as an 'act of war', saying, "If the economic war continues, not a single drop of oil will be exported from the Strait of Hormuz or any part of the Persian Gulf."
