Kremlin Spokesperson Dmitry Peskov made statements to journalists in Moscow regarding current issues. Referring to the UK's decision to share classified information about Scalp missile components with Ukraine, Peskov said, "The UK is siding with the Kiev administration in the war. The UK takes regular steps to hinder the peace process. Our Armed Forces are gathering necessary data to identify the production sites of such missiles and other military equipment and are taking measures for their destruction," he stated.
Regarding Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's statement that he would be pleased if the 'Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO)' decided to expel Armenia from the organization, Peskov noted that the CSTO is an important organization for ensuring regional security. Peskov said, "If Yerevan no longer needs membership for its national interests, Pashinyan is free to decide to leave the organization."
Regarding Armenia's plans to initiate the process of applying for membership in the European Union (EU), Peskov commented, "I recommend recalling the experiences of Turkey and other countries with their EU membership applications. Years have passed since they applied, but the outcome has not changed."
