US Removes Syria from 'State Sponsors of Terrorism' List
The US Department of the Treasury announced that Syria has been officially removed from the 'state sponsors of terrorism' list.

 

In a written statement from the US Department of the Treasury, it was announced that Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) has been removed from the status of 'Specially Designated Global Terrorist Organization' (SDGT). In this context, the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), affiliated with the US Department of the Treasury, also removed HTS from the Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons List.
