In a statement by the Indonesian National Search and Rescue Agency, it was noted that search and rescue operations and debris removal efforts are ongoing following the 7.7 magnitude earthquake that affected the East Nusa Tenggara province. It was reported that the death toll on Flores Island and its surroundings has reached 100. Officials stated that more than 1,600 citizens were injured in the earthquake, announcing that the congestion in hospitals and medical interventions in the field are continuing.
