Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf stated that the US is not in an economic position to further limit its relations with other countries, noting that Washington's 'exaggerated words' are not found credible.

Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf commented on statements made by the Washington administration on his social media account. Qalibaf stated, “The Americans know that no one believes their exaggerated words. The US is not in a position to further limit its relations with other countries economically.”

Claiming that Iran's trade partners have indicated through both their media statements and messages sent to Iran that they do not heed the US's words, Qalibaf said, “Our trade partners have conveyed to us that they do not take these statements seriously at all.”
