U.S. President Donald Trump said, “An average of 30 tankers pass through the Strait of Hormuz daily. The strait is in very good condition.”
U.S. President Donald Trump answered questions from the press at the White House regarding current issues. Trump claimed that Iran is a 'collapsed country' and stated, "Still, this does not mean we will not put them in their place. We will see what happens."
Trump noted that approximately 30 tankers pass through the Strait of Hormuz daily with the help of the U.S. Navy, saying, "The Strait of Hormuz is in extremely good condition. On average, 30 ships pass through each night. A lot of oil is coming through. That's why you see that oil prices have not risen as predicted. The U.S. did a 'very good' job first in Venezuela, then in Iran. Iran will never have nuclear weapons. If Iran had nuclear weapons, there would be no country called Israel right now," he said.
