Iran's Response to the US: No Talks Until Our Conditions Are Met
Iran's Supreme National Security Council Secretary General Mohsen Rezaei stated that no negotiations will be conducted with the US unless Iran's conditions are met.
Iran's Supreme National Security Council Secretary General Mohsen Rezaei commented on potential talks with the US in a statement on his social media account. In his post, Rezaei said, “Do not be deceived by the contradictory messages from the US president, ranging from 'no negotiations' to 'we are ready to talk.' The balances regarding oil and straits have changed. Damage control will not prevent future occurrences. No talks until Iran's conditions are met. Period!”
Rezaei's statements came in response to a post by US President Donald Trump on his social media account. In his post, Trump stated, “Iran, on the brink of collapse, wants to make a deal urgently and at any cost. I will decide whether the US will be involved in this process; and we are clear on this matter.”
