The Turkish Ministry of National Defence shared a post commemorating the 108th anniversary of the liberation of Baku from the Dashnak-bolshevik occupation by the Caucasus Islamic Army.
The ministry emphasized that the spirit of brotherhood demonstrated by the Caucasus Islamic Army continues to live on in people’s hearts today.
“On the 108th anniversary of the liberation of Baku from enemy occupation, we respectfully commemorate the memory of Nuru Pasha (Killigil), who came to the aid of his Azerbaijani brothers, and all the heroes of the Caucasus Islamic Army,” the ministry noted.
