US Approves F-35 Sale to Saudi Arabia
The US administration has approved the sale of 48 'F-35' fighter jets and other equipment worth 24.3 billion dollars to Saudi Arabia.

In a written statement from the US Department of State, it was announced that an official notification regarding the arms sale to Saudi Arabia has been submitted to Congress. The statement noted that Saudi Arabia will purchase 48 'F-35' fighter jets, 49 'Pratt & Whitney F135-PW-100' engines, and other related equipment, with the total transaction valued at 24.3 billion dollars. The statement emphasized that the sale of 'F-35' will not alter the military power balance in the region.
