It has been reported that a person attacked by a shark in the Perth region of Western Australia's state has died.
Western Australia Police announced that a person was attacked by a shark at Sorrento Beach, approximately 20 kilometers from Perth city center, around 10:30 local time. It was stated that boats and a helicopter were dispatched to the area upon the report.
Officials stated that 1 person lost their life and that the approximately 12-kilometer coastline between Marmion and Iluka regions has been closed until noon tomorrow.
