Khankendi hosts 5th Meeting of Heads of Agencies Responsible for Development of Human Resources of OTS member states

The Fifth Meeting of the Heads of Agencies Responsible for the Development of Human Resources of the Member States of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) was held in Khankendi.

The meeting focused on the impact of digital transformation and artificial intelligence on human resource development, new approaches to human resource management, the development of human capital in line with modern challenges, and expanding the exchange of experience among OTS member states in this field.

Addressing the event, Maleyka Abbaszade, Chairperson of the Board of Directors of Azerbaijan’s State Examination Center, expressed her confidence that today’s discussions would open up new opportunities for innovative and fair governance that meet modern challenges, and would further strengthen the institutional foundations of long-term partnership among the member states of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS).

The speeches were also delivered by Nuru Guliyev, Deputy Secretary General of the OTS, and Gunduz Karimov, Head of the Department of Legislation and Legal Policy of the Presidential Administration. The speakers emphasized the importance of enhancing the digital skills of civil servants and cooperation in this area within the OTS.

Bilal Şentürk, Director General of Personnel and Principles of the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye, highlighted the necessity of enhancing cooperation in the field of human resources development across the Turkic world in a more systematic and results-oriented manner.

The speeches also focused on the professional development of civil servants, enhancing their digital skills, upholding ethical principles, and ensuring institutional preparedness for technological change.

The event then continued with bilateral meetings.
