Iranian President Mesud Pezeşkiyan said, “Iran and Pakistan can meet their needs by relying on the region's capacity.”
A written statement from the Iranian Presidency announced that President Mesud Pezeşkiyan and Pakistan's Interior Minister Mohsin Nakvi met in the capital, Tehran. During the meeting, which addressed the relations between the two countries, Pezeşkiyan stated, "We hope that the cooperation between the two countries will continue seriously in all areas. Iran and Pakistan can meet their needs by relying on the region's capacity."
Pezeşkiyan also noted that the activities and pressures of the United States have increased cooperation among Islamic countries, stating that Iran and Pakistan are important countries in the region.
Nakvi, on the other hand, remarked that the relations between his country and Iran are at the highest level compared to previous periods, and expressed their determination to enhance cooperation in economic, political, and cultural fields.
