Ali Ahmadov, Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), met with a delegation led by Jojo Ow, Executive Director for Debt Capital Markets (DCM) at Standard Chartered Bank.
The meeting featured discussions on the macroeconomic environment and trends in global financial markets, current approaches to foreign exchange reserve management, and the prevailing dynamics of sovereign bond and money markets.
The sides discussed ways to promote the integration of Azerbaijan’s financial markets into the international financial system, the opportunities offered by Standard Chartered Bank’s global financial network in this regard, and prospects for cooperation between the organizations.
The parties exchanged views on initiatives of mutual interest, as well as matters related to the exchange of knowledge and experience.
