Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that they do not want a war with Europe, saying, “There will be no winner in a possible war.”
Russian President Vladimir Putin held a joint press conference with the African Union Chairman and Burundi President Evariste Ndayishimiye following the Russia-Africa Summit held in the capital Moscow. Referring to statements that European countries will prepare for war with Russia by 2030, Putin said, “We are ready, but we do not want any war with Europe. If anyone wants it, let them prepare. Western countries have not achieved their goals of strategically defeating Russia. It is also not possible for this to happen by 2030.”
Regarding the consequences of a possible war with Europe, Putin stated, “If things go too far, there will be no winner. Let no one forget this. Russia has learned lessons from the First and Second World Wars. We are doing our best to prevent similar conflicts.”
