Azeri and Turkish doctors come together in Baku
Turkish and Azerbaijani doctors will come together in Baku at the Oncology and Haematology Summit. With the summit to be held by İncir Health and Bayındır Health Group with Onkologiya and Hematoligia Centre in Azerbaijan on 24-25 September, negotiations will be held for new collaborations between the two countries. Nearly a thousand doctors will share information about their areas of expertise with their presentations at the summit.

According to the data announced by International Health Services (IHS), 1 million 258 thousand people came to Turkey in 2022 to receive treatment services to solve their health problems, while this number reached 800 thousand in the first half of 2023 alone. While various health institutions reveal Turkey's potential in the sector, they also carry their success abroad. Finally, İncir Health and Bayındır Health Group will bring together the physicians of the two countries at the Oncology and Hematology Congress to be held on 24-25 September in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, in cooperation with the Onkologiya and Hematoligia Centre. Bureaucrats and officials of the Republic of Turkey, officials of the Ministry of Health of Azerbaijan and representatives of health tourism will also participate in the event to be held in Baku.  

Stating that the aim of the congress is to convey Turkey's high potential in the health sector and tourism, İncir Health CEO Dr Fedakar Günsili made the following statement on the subject:

Together with Bayındır Health Group, we took action to build a bridge between Azerbaijan's leading surgeons and their stakeholders in Turkey. With the Oncology and Haematology Summit, we are proud that we have been instrumental in our country's signing new collaborations in the health sector and making the name of our physicians known abroad."  

NEW COLLABORATIONS WILL BE MADE BETWEEN THE TWO COUNTRIES 

According to the information obtained from Prof. Dr. Fedakar Günsili, the Oncology and Hematology Summit aims to show Turkey's potential in the health sector, as well as to create a network of new commercial relations between the institutions and visitors participating in the organisation and the opportunity to establish one-to-one contact in terms of treatment needs. Three different concepts will be implemented at the congress, including health tourism promotion stands, conferences and B2B seminars, as well as bilateral business meetings. Azerbaijan's hospitals, clinics, insurance companies and travel agencies interested in health tourism will be able to meet and negotiate.  

Physicians participating in the congress led by İncir Health will make presentations in 5 different branches including general surgery, gynaecology, oncology and haematology. Nearly 20 active doctors, including Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ebru Ayvazoğlu, Prof. Dr. Ömer Çobanoğlu, Prof. Dr. Gökhan Moray, Prof. Dr. Ali Uğur Ural, Assoc. Dr. Ece Esin and Prof. Dr. Okan Akhan, will attend the seminar.
