Azerbaijan will host another major international wrestling event this summer.
According to the Azerbaijan Wrestling Federation, two international beach wrestling tournaments will take place in Baku from August 27 to 29. The U-17 World Wrestling Championship is scheduled for August 27, followed by the 4th stage of the Wrestling World Series for adults over the next two days. Both competitions will be held in Azerbaijan for the first time.
Additionally, Baku will host the U-17 World Wrestling Championship in freestyle, women’s, and Greco-Roman wrestling from July 27 to August 2.
