The expenses of the Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan (AFFA) for 2025 amounted to 49.1 million manats, Report informs.
Last year, 27.9 million manats were spent on national teams, according to the AFFA's report.
Some 8.13 million manats were allocated for salary payments and travel expenses, 4.04 million manats for payment of referees and referee inspection work, and 2.44 million manats for match organization.
Expenses for organizing leagues for girls and boys (from U-10 to U-19), the regional league, and other tournaments amounted to 2.37 million manats.
About 978,200 manats were spent on the implementation of the VAR project, 556,437 manats on match security, 472,940 manats on transportation, 370,071 manats on grassroots football development, 341,040 manats on airline tickets and hotel accommodation, 312,367 manats on other expenses, 162,100 manats on utility and communication expenses, etc.
The expenses also include costs for hosting UEFA representatives, referees, and referee inspectors appointed for matches of Azerbaijani clubs in the Champions League and the Europa League.
