Mongolia will host the WTT Youth Contender 2026 and WTT Feeder 2026 from July 14 to 23, following a request submitted by the Mongolian Table Tennis Association to the International Table Tennis Federation, according to Montsame.
Both events will offer official world ranking points and will mark the first time that an ITTF world ranking tournament in table tennis has been held in Mongolia. The competition is expected to play an important role in promoting the development of Mongolian table tennis internationally, showcasing the skills of Mongolian athletes, and giving young players an opportunity to earn world ranking points on home soil.
More than 300 athletes from over 30 countries have registered to compete, including participants from leading table tennis nations such as China, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, Germany, India, Australia, and the Netherlands. In addition, around 400 people, including coaches, referees, officials, and delegates, are expected to visit Mongolia for the event.
The WTT Youth Contender 2026 will be held from July 14 to 17, while the WTT Feeder 2026 is scheduled for July 19 to 23 at the Buyant-Ukhaa Sports Complex.
