During the visit, Selcuk Bayraktar expressed gratitude to President Aliyev for Azerbaijan's assistance and support in the aftermath of the Kahramanmaras-centered earthquakes.  President Ilham Aliyev once again wished God's mercy to the victims of the earthquakes and described Azerbaijan's assistance to Turkey as a duty of brotherhood.

COOPERATION PERSPECTIVES DISCUSSED

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev stated that Turkey has achieved great success in the defense industry in recent years and emphasized that Baykar's activities play a leading role in this regard. During the meeting, it was emphasized that the friendly and brotherly relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey are successfully developing in the defense industry, as in all other areas, and exchanged views on cooperation perspectives.

BAYRAKTAR TECHNOLOGY AZERBAIJAN FOUNDED

During the meeting, Selcuk Bayraktar informed President Aliyev about the newly established Bayraktar Technology Azerbaijan company, which aims to reinforce the brotherhood between Azerbaijan and Turkey through high technology development ecosystems. Bayraktar Technology Azerbaijan aims to work in the fields of artificial intelligence robotic unmanned systems research and development, unmanned system platforms, factory-level maintenance, unmanned systems pilotage, technician and maintenance pieces of training, field-level technical support, and logistics coordination.

PRESENTED A MODEL OF BAYRAKTAR KIZILEMA TO THE PRESIDENT

At the end of the visit, Selcuk Bayraktar presented a model of Bayraktar KIZILELMA, Turkey's first unmanned combat aircraft developed nationally and originally by Baykar, to the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev.

BAYRAKTAR WAS GIVEN A MEDAL

Selcuk Bayraktar also met with Azerbaijan's Minister of Defense, General Zakir Hasanov, and was presented the "Military Cooperation Medal" by Minister Hasanov for his contributions in the field of military cooperation.
