The “Robogirls” project has been launched in the Beylagan district with the support of Azercell. The initiative is implemented by the “Mil” Public Association for Education in the Socio-Economic Sphere, one of the winners of Azercell’s social projects contest focused on expanding women’s socio-economic opportunities.
As part of the project, STEM courses are being organized for girls studying in villages and settlements across the Beylagan district. The initiative seeks to encourage 6th and 7th grade students to explore technology and innovation, develop their digital competencies, and broaden their future career prospects.
A total of 90 schoolgirls applied to participate in the program. During the selection process, candidates completed a test covering informatics and artificial intelligence. Based on the results of assessments conducted by teachers and independent experts, 30 students demonstrating the strongest performance were selected to take part in the training.
Throughout the program, participants will acquire both theoretical knowledge and practical skills in robotics and other STEM disciplines. The training aims to deepen students’ understanding of technology while fostering analytical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving abilities.
Azercell’s social projects contest, held for the third time, supports initiatives that contribute to women’s empowerment and promotes a more inclusive society by strengthening women’s participation in social and economic life.
