Professor Nicolae Istudor, Rector of the Bucharest University of Economic Studies (ASE), Romania, and Professor Constantin Marius Profiroiu, Vice-Rector for International Relations, visited the Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU).
The guests met with Professor Vilayat Valiyev, Rector of AzTU, and university staff. During the meeting, they were briefed on AzTU’s ongoing initiatives in education, scientific research, and internationalisation.
The two sides discussed the outcomes of their existing cooperation and prospects for its further development. They exchanged views on developing joint research projects, expanding collaboration in research areas of mutual interest, and increasing student and academic staff exchanges. Opportunities for organising joint scientific events on current and relevant topics were also explored.
As part of the visit, the Romanian delegation toured AzTU’s laboratories and familiarised themselves with the university’s teaching and research infrastructure.
