The Founding Meeting of the Turkic Forensic Science Network, which was attended by delegations from 15 forensic organizations of the member states of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), held in Baku.

As part of the event, the participants visited the grave of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev in the Alley of Honors, as well as the Alley of Martyrs, the 'Turkish Martyrdom' monument and the Victory Park.

The meeting was attended by Abiddin Huseynov, Azerbaijan's Deputy Minister of Justice, Can Tuncay, Türkiye's Deputy Minister of Justice, Birol Akgun, Türkiye's Ambassador to our country; and Omer Kocaman, Deputy Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States.

The event brought together officials from the forensic science institutions of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan.

During the presentations, the participants highlighted the forensic systems of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Türkiye and Uzbekistan, current capabilities and the ongoing projects.

The event concluded with the signing of a Memorandum on Turkic Forensic Science Network.
