“Türkiye is undertaking significant efforts to establish peace between Azerbaijan and Armenia,” Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said during a roundtable with editors of Anadolu Agency in Ankara.
Fidan emphasized that Ankara’s vigorous efforts to prevent tensions in the region are also visible in diplomacy, including in maintaining a balance of power among regional and global players.
“Any change in the current situation or instability in the region inevitably impacts Türkiye; therefore, Ankara must pursue a forward-looking state vision toward developments worldwide, including the South Caucasus,” the Turkish Foreign Minister added.
