A delegation from Türkiye, including representatives of Turkish higher educational institutions, visited the Sumgayit Industrial Park operating under the Economic Zones Development Agency (IZIA) operating under Azerbaijani Ministry of Economy.

Seymur Adigozalov, IZIA Chairman of the Board, briefed the Turkish delegation on the activities of the agency, Azerbaijan’s efforts toward developing industrial zones, the favorable business and investment climate offered to local and foreign investors.

The meeting also focused on fostering cooperation between higher educational institutions and industrial enterprises, conducting joint research and innovation projects, personnel training, and knowledge exchange.

The visiting delegation then familiarized itself with the operations of the park’s residents, including the “Kartaş Kimya” LLC and the “Azerfloat” CJSC.

The delegation praised the conditions created at the park, noting that creating such industrial zones will contribute to enhancing regional economic cooperation.
